Sam competed in the 2008 VISA Championships this past weekend and
finished in fourth place (122.00)! Sam successfully qualified
to the Olympic Trials which will take place in about a week in
Philadelphia, PA.

week! Sam won the bronze medal (59.05) and placed behind

After attending camp this week, Sam has been chosen to
compete in the Tyson American Cup this weekend. This event is
the first meet that kicks off the road to the Olympic Games!
Sam, along with
Shawn Johnson,
Nastia Liukin,
and Shayla
Worley, will compete against other top gymnasts from around the
world tomorrow (March 1) in New York City. Check back here
tomorrow for full results! Good Luck Sam!
